The Paintings Keep Improving

They say that ‘practise makes perfect’ and although perfection may be a matter of opinion,  my students are certainly improving  in leaps and bounds.

Sylvie has decided that she has finished her painting of Azay-le Rideau. Making that decision can sometimes be one of the most important ones during the painting process. When to stop. If you are really enjoying the creative process, it’s possible to go too far and risk overdoing it. I think she has captured a misty moment, a calm reflection and interesting order kamagra usa detail on the boats in the foreground. Well done.

Jo has finished her ‘Gangly Giraffes’ and managed to make the carving leap off the page, and you can almost feel the texture of the wood they are carved from. Another good job done.

As for me I did a little painting and here you can see the photgraph and the painting I did from it. I haven’t done much for a while, so it was a pleasant little subject to get me back in the ‘groove’.
