‘Shabby Chic’ French Painted Furniture

The Goose Jon Madeley of  ‘Scumble Goosie’ has very kindly sent an email to his clients to tell them about the ‘French Painted Furniture’ course I am doing here in the Languedoc at Château Ventenac. Read what Jon had to say below.

My old friend Nicola Blakemore, who has been a valued customer of ours ever since our early MDF days – and who has now moved to sunny climes in the South of France, has been in touch this week. No, I’m not jealous… really I’m not… whilst sitting here writing to you, or designing in my office in the drizzling English June. Yes, I know, I did light a fire last night as it was so cold, but that’s beside the point!

Anyway, Nicola is running Furniture Painting Courses at a beautiful Chateau and so we thought you might like to visit her website to find out more. We will be supplying accessories for her course members to paint, and also a special offer voucher for her to put in every goodie bag she gives out.

I will write more about the course – which buy kamagra 100mg runs from 7th – 12th November – in the coming months, but in the meantime here is a link to her website. There is a fascinating blog to explore too. Just go to http://goo.gl/YRQjH and click on ‘French Decorating Style’ and you will be able to read all about it. Please will you let me or Nicola know what you think?’

Thanks very much Jon. By the way, if it’s any comfort to you it has been a very damp and grey start to June . In fact I nearly lit a fire myself last week!

For those of you who may not know about this company take a look at their super site www.scumblegoosie.co.uk the original and the best producer of blank furniture and accessories.

In Jon’s e mail he also went on to ask for furniture design ideas. Hmm, well caught my attention and I may well send off the odd sketch. I have a few ideas of items with an ‘oh so French feel’ that I’d love to give my special paint effects to. I’ll keep you posted.
