New Venue and New Artist

Maison Quarante‘Maison Quarante’ is a new venue in my village.

Recently bought by a Swedish couple it offers super accommodation set in delightful gardens with a pool, and last week I had a great time giving ‘one-2-one’ tuition to a delightful lady from Provence.

She had never painted before so felt that a couple of days of individual tuition would get her started, and it did.

We looked a basic drawing skills even down to how to hold your pencil for the best effect. We did a little sketching and then moved on to looking at her watercolour paints, how they work and getting the most from her brushes.

One of the first things I always suggest the beginner does is to make a chart of all the beautiful cheap kamagra australia colours in the paintbox. Many boxes come with the manufacturers printed guide, but the colours aren’t always an accurate representation.  Some pans will have the name printed on the side, but some don’t, so if you’ve taken the wrapper off you may need a reminder of the name.

Here’s what to do.

Cut a piece of watercolour paper that will fit in your lid and paint a small square of each colour so that it corresponds to the position of the pan in the box. Then write the name underneath. Not only will you have a quick reference to remind which colour is which, you will also see how it looks on your watercolour paper.
