Birds of prey, beaches and weather.

We have been having some very strange weather. All four seasons in one day and very windy.

Today the sun showed its face and seemed to call me to go and look at the sea. So off I drove to Narbonne Plage, about a 40 minute drive from Quarante. On the way there and on the way back I was amazed at how many birds of prey I saw. Red and Black Kites, Buzzards, Bonnelli Eagles and I think I saw a Marsh Harrier. It’s spring. They are soaring on the thermals and maybe looking for nesting sites.

A few Housemartine have started to arrive, later than usual. Enjoy looking out for your feathered friends.
