Snow in the south of France. Shock Horror !

Snow in the south of France? Yes, it does happen from time to time.

Snow on the Olive trees.

I took this a number of years ago, they are some of the olive trees in the square of my village. In fact, the snow did get to about four inches in certain areas. I remember looking at my terrace which is south facing but perfectly placed to catch a good covering. The vignerons came out with the tractors to help clear the roads.

The reason for posting this now is because it’s 8 degrees C, bright sunshine, with a very strong, bitterly cold wind and it did, for a moment snow. Welcome, April. And to think I was putting sun protection on in February.
