2022 Painting holidays with Nicola in France

The world is opening up, so now is the time to revive and develop your creativity.

Come on a fabulous watercolour painting holiday with experienced tutor Nicola Blakemore.

With 40,000 students online, 30,000 following on YouTube and having run many successful painting holidays in France and elsewhere, you can be sure of benefitting from my tried and tested, patient teaching methods.

You will be staying at Chateau Barayre which nestles between the Lot and Dordogne rivers and has been tastefully and responsibly renovated into a spectacular venue.

The chateau dates from the 12th century and was on the front line between the French and the English during the 100-year war. The atmosphere of earlier centuries is present everywhere, shooting holes, thick walls, high rooms with huge wooden beams and a beautiful tower with a breath-taking view. Even with all this history and original features you can be sure of comfortable and modern facilities.

You can also be sure of a warm welcome from Dutch owners Jaap (Yap) and his wife Rachna (Rakna). As enthusiastic and eco-friendly hosts you will dine on excellent local produce including their own eggs. There will be local wines to choose from, including organic wines and be assured special diets can be catered for including vegan.

As the venue is tucked away in the countryside, you can be sure of peace and quite to feed your creativity. If you want to explore then a car is recommended.
